In 2020, Klara earned a full-tuition scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music, where she collaborated and performed with acclaimed artists such as Billy Childs, David Sanchez, Joe Lovano, Danilo Pérez, John Patitucci, Brian Blade, Kenny Werner, and Jerry Bergonzi. After completing her bachelor’s degree in Performance, she will continue her studies at the Berklee Global Jazz Institute, focusing on the significance of Ukrainian heritage in world history.

Klara’s admiration for classical and film music influences her voice as a composer. She has written for solo harp, orchestra, and electronic instruments, emphasizing harmonic textures that support simple melodies. Her inspirations include Polish organist and composer Marian Sawa and German composer Paul Hindemith. Currently, she is working to incorporate improvisation into her compositions, believing it to be essential for fostering creativity and originality in classical music. Her advanced education in classical theory has fostered collaborations with renowned classical musicians in the Boston area. In April 2024, she performed with Sound Icon, a Boston-based sinfonietta, in Marti Epstein’s In Praise of Broken Clocks, a composition by the Guggenheim Fellowship recipient.

Klara's most recent project involves releasing an album with Cuban tres player Mario Salvador Rodríguez, featuring original compositions and classical arrangements. Their shared cultural interests inspire explorations of how these two string instruments can harmonize, offering a unique fusion of Polish and Cuban sounds.

Klara’s primary project, the Klemer Trio, is based in Boston and features Mehrpouya Daneshvar on clarinet, Klara Poznachowska on harp, and Lucas Phillips on double bass. Their collaborative approach draws on the members' diverse cultural experiences, creating performances that blend narrative and musical exploration. They believe that music transcends barriers of religion, ethnicity, and language, uniting people through a shared artistic voice that resonates with audiences worldwide.
